Delegation of the Greek Communist party after invitation by the Cuban Communist Party arrived in Cuba and met today in Havana with Jose Ramon Balaguer Kavrera, member of the Secretariat of the CC of Cuban Communist Party and head of the Department of International Relations and discussed various subjects as well as exchanging views on developments in the two countries and international issues.

According to a press release earlier today, the Greek Communist party delegation had a meeting with the deputy head of the Department of International Relations, responsible for issues in Latin America, Jorge Arias. Also there was a meeting with members of the Permanent Commission on the promotion and implementation of guidelines for economic and social policy of the Party and the Revolution, which was  decided by the last 6th Congress of Communist Party of Cuba.

Further, the delegation of the Greek Communist Party even visited the Latin American School of Medicine, and on Thursday is scheduled to visit  the Cuban Institute of Friendship between nations.

Finally, tomorrow the Greek delegation will continue holding meetings  with members of the Cuban Communist Party
