According to an announcement released by Spanish airline Iberia, the direct flights operated by the company between Athens and Madrid will be extended during the winter months. More specifically, there will be three flights a week.

Flights to Madrid will depart from Athens every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 16:00 (local time) and arrive in Madrid at 18:50 (local time). The flights from the Spanish capital to Athens will depart on the same day at 10:50 (local time) and arrive in Athens at 15:15 (local time).
