Main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) has announced that two of its members will take part in a mission of the European Left Party to the borders between Turkey and Syria near the town of Kobane, on October 28 and 29.
The two SYRIZA members are Deputy Nadia Valavani, responsible for foreign policy in SYRIZA’s parliamentary group and Vangelis Kalpadakis, diplomatic advisor to party leader Alexis Tsipras.
Along with representatives from other European countries, they will visit refugee camps, the Suruc hospital on the Turkish side of the borders and meet with area authorities and humanitarian organizations.
