L’Oréal Paris has named 69-year-old Helen Mirren, the Oscar-winning British actress, as the new ambassador of the brand.

Although it is not a common thing to see a 69-year-old woman star in a campaign of a major beauty brand, no-one can deny that Dame Mirren’s style and elegance are unique.

“I am not gorgeous and I never was, but I was always OK looking and I’m keen to stay that way,” Mirren told the Daily Mail of her new job. “I have always loved the L’Oréal Paris brand, and I hope I can inspire other women towards greater confidence by making the most of their natural good looks. We are all worth it!”
