Over 100 young Europeans will participate in the European Debate Tournament titled “Thessaloniki Open 2014” that will be held in the city of Thessaloniki from October 31 until November 2.
The tournament will take place at the premises of DEI College. Students from all over Europe will compete in argumentation in the British language. The judges will be experienced debaters who have won European and World championships from Greece and abroad.
This unique event aims to bring together young people in exercising free speech and other fundamentals of democracy, but also celebrate Thessaloniki’s tenure as the European Youth Capital.
