The ten day big sale in Greece started yesterday and today Sunday while the shops were open optionally from 11 am to 8 pm attracted lots of people.

According to the Hellenic Retail Business Association (HRBA) Companies will offer to the consumers a wide variety of products at lower prices with the best possible service and respect.

However, the Federation of Private Greek Employees has declared a 24-hour strike and protest demonstration at “The Mall”.

Yesterday the main retail streets were full of consumers who chose to visit the shops in the first day of the sales. Although many of them avoided visiting the shops at the center of Athens in fear of a protest demonstration and the cold weather.

Today many people visited the shops and took advantage of the sales.
