AC/DC’s legendary rock band drummer Phil Rudd is facing charges for involvement in an attempted murder case.

According to police who raided his home in New Zealand, Rudd tried to arrange the murder of an, as yet, unknown individual. Motives are also still unknown. New York Post, however, states that Phil Rudd’s target were two men.

Police also discovered methamphetamine and hashish in the 60 year old’s house.

Australian Phill Rudd was a member of the band between 1975 and 1983, when he left, only to return in 1994.

This is the second crisis that the band is called to face since one of their founding members, Malcolm Young was diagnosed with dementia, back in September.

The offense which Phil Rudd is facing in New Zealand may bring with it imprisonment of up to 10 years.
