The payout process of a 350 million tranche towards Cyprus was begun by Finance Ministers of the Eurozone. The process will be completed on December 8th, while the IMF’s process of a 86 million euro tranche will last just as long.
As it became known, the next evaluation is expected to begin in January and will be quite extensive, seeing as the program reaches halfway across its “path”.
In this context, the Cypriot Finance Minister stated “unnecessary moves must be avoided, which would endanger this important perspective of recovery of the economy. The confidence towards the Cypriot economy must be strengthened and secured, something which is vital for recovery and growth”.
