The Greek former Prime Minister replied to the scenarios of creating and leading a new political party with an announcement.

However, what is particularly interesting is that Mr. Andreas  Papandreou neither confirms nor denies, that members of the so-called Papandreou enthusiasts urge him to lead a new political formation.

According to the statement Mr. Papandreou unlike others, does not have” intimate buddies ” or ” groups “.  He talks to everyone, he ” neither encourages or discourages anyone to express their views or to make any movement” . Everyone has the responsibility of what they say or do.  It is obvious that some people agree with his views and some disagree – nothing more or less.

The former prime minister claims for himself that: “The only interest of Giorgos Papandreou is the country’s course and the possibility of progressive forces in the country to meet the real needs of the country and the Greek people.”

Among other the announcement of Mr. Papandreou ends by saying that: ” Those who dream of ” clarifications” will never be able to discredit the importance of the principles, the values of the Movement and its ideological and political views, turning them into personal and selfish” .
