During his speech at the meeting of the SYRIZA parliamentary group held earlier today, Mr. Tsipras once again unleashed a fierce attack against government and the President of the main opposition, while he questioned its legitimacy and requested elections for “redemption and change”.
The leader of SYRIZA spoke of a “creepy future” driven by the current government which will lead us back to the Middle Ages.
At the same time he accused the government for continues retreats “which they call negotiations” within domestic centers and with German leaders.
Among other, Mr. Alexis Tsipras referred to middle class by stressing the way it “perishes under the burden of a tax policy”.
Mr. Tsipras stated that SYRIZA will not accept prerequisites or requirements that attempt to impose as accomplished facts.
Meanwhile he repeated the party’s position as a ruling party, to enter in the budget requirements of the outstanding loan.
“We are infinitely more powerful, more experienced an more determined than ever to turn the page” he said.
Finally, Mr. Tsipras referred to Turkish provocations in the Cypriot EEZ and congratulated Mr. Manoli Glezo for his good work in the European Parliament.
