An American journalist, Jesse Nash, found himself in CHinzombo Camp, in Zambia and witnessed a spectacular sight. A small, one year old elephant was attacked by 14 hungry lions. The journalist recorded this amazing scene with h is camera, where the brave elephant manages to survive against the lions using his smarts.
The lions surrounded the little elephant, with one hopping on his back and the other snapping at his legs, but the brave elephant youngling leads the big cats towards the water, knowing that the latter do not like water as much as he does.
Using this clever trick, the elephant manages to survive, and according to the New York Post, earned the nickname “Hercules”.
