Around 4:15 in the morning 35 year old  Albanian entered a bar in Deliveri coast in Piraeus and shot with Kalashnikov  and injured a total of fifteen people.

According to latest information, the number of injured stands at fifteen of which six had superficial injuries and were discharged. Five of the victims were originally  transferred to Attikon Hospital some with wounds in the hands and head and two heart in the chest and are now further transferred to the Red Cross for surgery while the remaining two are treated in Evaggelismos hospital. All injured victims are aged under 30.

How did the unprecedented incident happen

According to the bar owner’s statement to the police at Saturday dawn approximately around 4:15 a 35 year old Albanian , stood outside the glass window of the bar while holding a Kalashnikov and opened fire against people of the bar shouting : “I’ll kill you all! Tonight There will be blood! “.

The police supports that the man is a known offender and prior to the incident he was at the bar as a customer and according to the bar owner he had three drinks paid the bill as normal and left around 4 in the morning.

Most possibly the Albanian perpetrator  probably went to his car or to a very near place to take the Kalashnikov and returned to the bar.

The bar owner understanding the seriousness of the situation told the customers to stay on the floor and asked the DJ to stop the music.

According to information from the Greek Police the man is of foreign origin, a known criminal with serious psychological problems.

There is an ongoing investigation of the police based on a picture of the perpetrator with a girl in order to help them to find and arrest the perpetrator.

Further, according to information the paranoid responsible for injuring 11 people at dawn on Saturday is also liable for another bloody incident that occurred on the 31^st of October in the area of Metaxourgion.
