Deputy Development Minister Notis Mitarachi is in Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit on Monday and Tuesday that aims to explore the possibilities for further development and expansion of Greek-Saudi ties in the trade, economic and business field.
Monday’s schedule includes a meeting with Riyadh governor Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and a delegation of entrepreneurs and investors. Mr. Mitarachi’s will also meet with Prince Al Waleed bin Talal and the Saudi-Greek Parliamentary Friendship Committee.
On Tuesday, the Greek minister will meet with Commerce and Industry minister Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Deputy minister for International trade Dr Abdullah Al Obeid and Agriculture minister Dr Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Balghunaim. Among others, he will have meetings with the minister of Economy and Planning Dr Muhammad Al Jasser and the chairman of the board at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Eng. Abdullatif A. Al-Othman.
On this trip, Mr. Mitarachi is accompanied by Enterprise Greece CEO Stefanos Isaias.
