Greek-Australian Nicole Kondou has conquered the Australian market with her two different companies.

The very capable young lady manages one of the most successful public relations firm in Australia called Material Girl. The firm has participated in very large events, such as the show of L’Oreal in Melbourne, and has worked with representatives of the international showbiz, like Marie Presley and Paris Hilton, Ronan Keating and Dennis Rodman.

At the same  time through her second business she manages to bring Greece closer to Australia. She creates candles in small Greek traditional coffee cups with a meander pattern printed on them.

As she says on the company’s website, the Australians that choose to buy them bring a sense of the Mediterranean to their home.

At her interview to the Australian site brimbank.starweekly.com.au, Nicole describes how she always wanted to create something of her own related to her Greek inheritance.

She stated that ” I’ve spend my career  enhancing the profile of other companies, entrepreneurs and products and I wanted to channel my creativity and my passion for Greece through my own products. ”

It is worth mentioning that the young talented Nicole last Friday won the Australian HACCI prize for young entrepreneurship for the candle production company.
