Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias spent his Christmas holidays with his puppies, the names of which are inspired by the names of two former US presidents, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.

Mr. Dendias uploaded photos on his personal Facebook profile wishing everyone: “Happy Holidays from ‘Reagan’ and ‘Clinton’ the two dogs of our family”.

Dozens were the comments beneath the post, which wished him happy holidays, but others, more satirical, could also be seen:

“Great sense of humor… WHAT ELSE CAN I POSSIBLE HEAR FROM A SOON TO BE FORMER MINISTER…” wrote a “friend” of his on Facebook, while others were annoyed about the names he has given them, as shown by the following comment (Caps Lock intended) :

“I DID NOT EXPECT THIS. I EXPECTED THAT AT LEAST YOU WOULD DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM THE MENTORS OF GREECE’S DESTRUCTION. WHAT DID THE POOR DOGS EVER DO TO YOU THAT YOU CALL THEM SUCH NAMES? MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL POLITICIANS”.
