Ingredients
335gr. castor sugar
335gr. fresh cow butter
315gr. eggs (6 eggs)
125ml orange juice
zest of 1 orange
12g. baking powder
385gr. flour for all purpose
85g. almond powder
1 vanilla pod
1 pinch cinnamon (2.5g.)
a little nutmeg
little cloves
icing sugar for decoration
Preparation method
step 1
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Put the baking powder In a bowl and add the flour, the almond powder, the cinnamon, the nutmeg and the cloves and stir.

With a sharp knife cut along the vanilla, “scrape” the seeds and pour in the mixer. Add butter, orange zest and sugar and beat until fluffy. Then add one by one the eggs and continue stirring until the mixture is homogenous.

Finally gradually put the orange juice and continue stirring while adding the mixture that was previously placed in the oven.
step 4
Butter and dust with some flour a round tray and pour in the batter. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Once cooked take the cake of the tray and when is the cake it cool down sprinkle with powdered sugar.
