Main opposition Radical Left SYRIZA party has a 4.5% lead over the conservative New Democracy (ND) party that leads the coalition government, says a poll conducted by Macedonia University for SKAI TV. The poll results show that 29.5% of respondents prefer the opposition, compared to 25% for ND.

The fascist Golden Dawn party came third with 6% followed by POTAMI and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 5%, the socialist PASOK party only received 4% of the votes whereas Independent Greeks (ANEL) received 2%. Other left-wing factions ANTARSYA and the Democratic Left (DIMAR) party received 1% and 0.5% respectively.

7.5% of those questioned said that they would vote for another party whereas the unidentified vote reached 15%.
