During a press conference in London, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed all Greeks and explained that hers as well as the German governments aim was always for Greece to remain in the Eurozone.

According to her, in previous years Greece has always respected and complied to all financial commitments to its European partners and that she expects this to continue rejecting thereby a possible Greek exit from the Eurozone.

“Greece has already made many sacrifices. For many these have been very difficult years. We have come a long way”, she stressed and added that “I have no doubt that we will successfully get to the end. Always taking into consideration that Greeks will do their part and on the other that we should show solidarity, “concluded the German Chancellor.
