Meteorologists state that there will be a return to frosty weather following the sunny weekend temperatures. The next 48 hours (Monday and Tuesday) are expected to be frosty with galeforce winds, a drop in temperatures and snow in mountainous regions and higher levels.
Rain, sleet and northerly winds are forecast for Monday with wind velocity at 9 Beaufort. There will be sleet in the northern parts of the country with temperatures ranging from -1C to -9C. Western parts of the country will have rainfall with temperatures from 6C to 15C. There will be clouds and rain this afternoon in the eastern parts of the country with temperatures between 5C to 15C. There will be storms over the islands, with 9C to 18C.
