The electronic version of the British BBC network on Thursday presented an extensive tribute to the 600 cleaners of the Ministry of Finance in Greece that were made redundant 16 months ago, but are still fighting for their reinstatement with a determination big enough to have led to a long-term campout at the ministry’s entrance.
The BBC describes the women wearing their red working gloves, being middle aged and having no hope of finding work elsewhere in a crisis-ridden country.
