Breezy conditions are expected over the weekend across much of Greece. From Sunday onward, a noticeable drop in temperature is forecast, especially in the north, with snowfall in mountainous areas and, from the evening, at lower elevations in the northeast.

According to meteorologist Thodoros Kolydas, heavy rain and localized thunderstorms are expected on Saturday in Epirus, western Central Greece, and western to central Peloponnese. Winds will be strong, reaching 8 Beaufort and locally up to 9 Beaufort, while temperatures will rise slightly.

On Sunday, showers are forecast in western regions, with isolated thunderstorms in the eastern Aegean. Snowfall is expected in mountainous areas and, from the evening hours, at lower elevations in northeastern parts of the country. Winds may reach 8 Beaufort locally but will gradually weaken. A significant drop in temperature is expected, particularly in the north, where maximum temperatures will range between 6 and 8°C.

On Monday, rain or sleet is expected in eastern regions, with occasional snowfall from elevations of 300 meters and above. Conditions will gradually improve from late afternoon. In the Cyclades, Crete, and the Dodecanese, there will be local rain, isolated thunderstorms, and snowfall in mountainous areas. Northerly winds will blow at 5–7 Beaufort, locally reaching 8 Beaufort, accompanied by a further drop in temperature.

As noted by the meteorologist, Tuesday will be dry and cold. Local showers are expected only in Crete and the southern Aegean, with light snowfall in the mountains, followed by rapid improvement.

Elsewhere, weather conditions will be generally clear. Northerly winds will blow at 4–6 Beaufort, reaching up to 8 Beaufort in the southern Aegean before weakening. Temperatures will rise during the day, but frost is expected inland, locally strong in central and northern regions.
