Main opposition SYRIZA leads over major coalition partner New Democracy (ND) by 4.2%, according to the results of an nationwide opinion poll conducted by Rass for iefimerida.gr, between 19 and 20 January 2015.
More specifically, SYRIZA leads with 31.2%, followed by ND with 27%, To Potami with 6.3%, the Greek Communist Party (KKE) with 5.5%, far right Golden Dawn with 4.5%, PASOK with 4%, Independent Greeks with 3.1% and newly-formed Democrats Socialists Movement (KIDISO) with 2.2%.
9.5% of the respondents were undecided.
According to the results of the specific poll, the new Greek parliament will include seven parties, as former PM George Papandreou’s KIDISO is below 3%, the nationwide electoral threshold.
