Earlier today the new prime minister met with Chinese ambassador in Greece Ζοu Xiaoli, who handed Alexis Tsipras a congratulatory letter on behalf of Chinese PM Li Keqiang.

Apart from the Chinese ambassador, Tsipras received congratulations over the phone from the Prime Ministers of Finland, Stubb, Kazakstan Μassimov, from former Cypriot leader Christofias and from the Albanian Orthodox Archbishop Anastasios.
