As announced today by United Nations, conflict raging and violent incidents in Iraq claimed the lives of at least 1.375 people including 790 civilians in January.
585 of the dead were members of the Iraqi army, which makes great efforts of rebuilding, after the Islamic State occupied vast areas of the country last year.
A further press release of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq states that at least 2.240 civilians and soldiers were injured in the same period.
