According to international networks,  jihadists burned alive 45 hostages in northern Iraq.

Although it still remains unclear who the victims were and why they were executed, rumors want some of the victims being members of security forces.

However, what we do know so far, is that the hostages were the same that were captured last week by terrorists in the region located near the airbase Ain al-Assad.

The Iraqi colonel called for help from the government and of the international community, through the BBC network.
