Germans react to Bild’s snide ‘Der Angriff’ campaign against Greece

Logic has prevailed

Newsroom February 26 03:42

The German Journalists Association (Verband der Journalisten der DDR, abbreviated VDJ)  and many an Internet users are in uproar against German tabloid Bild’s unprovoked anti-Greek campaign.

Bild asked its readers to take selfies saying “Nein” to a request of extending the loan agreement, a day before it is voted on by the Bundestag, and to send the photos through an e-mail.

The VDJ charged that Bild’s campaign is beyond any form of civilized debate, even the one expressed by tabloids, while it stresses that Bild is blaming a whole nation for the mistakes of their politicians.
