Alternate Foreign Minister for International Economic Affairs Euclid Tsakalotos on Wednesday received the co-chair of the Greek-Algerian Business Council, Taieb Ezzraimi, who was accompanied by the Algerian Ambassador to Greece, Tedjini Slaouandji, at the Greek Foreign Ministry. In attendance for the Greek side were Aristides Beles, Co-chair for the Greek side of the Greek-Algerian Business Council, representatives of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), and Foreign Ministry officials.
Ascertained during the meeting was the very good level of Greek-Algerian relations, which, it was stressed, can be further improved. There was also a discussion of issues of bilateral economic, trade and business cooperation, and mainly of the activation of Greek enterprises in Algeria. Finally, Tsakalotos set out the government’s priorities in the economic sector and on eurozone issues in general.
