Maria-Elena Kiriakou, the Greek-Cypriot who has been chosen to represent Greece in this year’s Eurovision song contest, will sing a new, more dynamic version of her ballad “One Last Breath” at the competition’ semifinal on May 19.

The piano introduction which was included in the original version of the song is now gone and backing vocals have been added to give the track an upbeat twist.

The music for “One Last Breath” was written by Efthyvoulos Theocharous and Maria-Elena Kiriakou and the lyrics were written by Vangelis Konstantinidis and Evelina Tziora.
