Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange at 11 a.m. on Thursday with the basic share price index down 2.22% at 776.94 points and turnover at 9.815 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks decreased by 2.72% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down by 0.59%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Insurance (+0.47%), while the biggest losses were in Banks (-5.08%), Utilities (-3.86%) and Financials (-3.35%).

Of the stocks traded, 10 went up, 37 decreased and 8 remained unchanged.
