The discomfort factor involved in modern air travel may just increase, according to the Telegraph, as new “updated” aircraft coming out in the next two years appear to show that cash-strapped carriers want to include even more seating in their planes

The two giants of aircraft building, Boeing and Airbus, are currently “labouring away at fresh models which will reconfigure the traditional cabin, mainly by featuring more seats.”

According to the UK paper, both the Boeing 737 MAX (expected in the skies in 2017), and the Airbus A320neo (end of 2016) will cram more seats in the cabin.
