The very first science festival in Thessaloniki will take place from the 14th to 17th May at the Sports & Culture Facility “WE” and Pavilion 8 of the International Fair of Thessaloniki!

Thessaloniki Science Festival is organized by the educational organization “Science Communication – SciCo”, the British Council, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre – HELEXPO, the Sports & Culture Facility “WE”, the Hellenic Physics Society, and the General Secretariat for Research & Technology, in collaboration with various academic, research and educational institutes.

During the festival, visitors will be able to experience interactive exhibits, to participate in debates, scientific experiments, workshops, educational games, student competitions, to watch scientific theater performances and documentaries.

The festival is a communication platform between science and the general public, as well as an innovation in the field of science communication.
