Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his ire and launched a verbal attack against countries that have formally recognized the Armenian genocide.
The Turkish President accused France, Germany, Russia and Austria of supporting “claims based on Armenian lies”. His verbal remonstrations included the United States, even though Barack Obama avoided using the word “genocide” in his official statements.
Erdogan stated “before speaking of genocide, they should first wash off the stains on their own history”.
