Activists Atenistas, a group of volunteers aiming at beautifying Athens, placed signs through the historic center of Athens to make it easier for residents and travelers to find their way around.

Green “WalkAthens!” signs with directions to surrounding locations in Greek and English were placed in 15 key points across the city center, including the Archeological Museum, Omonoia, Syntagma, Monastiraki, thisseio, Psyrri and Vathi squares.
