A summit of 28 European Union member-states’ leaders, initially scheduled for Sunday in Brussels, has been cancelled, according to various media reports. The development is judged as positive, given that such a summit was viewed as considering the process leading to a “Grexit”.

Hours earlier, EU Council President Donald Tusk said a summit of Eurozone leaders, instead, will take place at 15.00 GMT, with talks expected to last until the question of Greece was resolved, as he said.
Following yesterday’s marathon Eurogroup session, which lasted more than nine hours, another round was set for Sunday, followed by EZ countries’ heads of government.
