A group of around 15 self-styled anarchists, in a very public yet non-violent manner on Thursday, threw flyers inside the courtyard of the Maximos Mansion government house, the prime minister’s official office.
A “mini commotion” by police sentries and other security personnel ensued, with members of the group forced to the opposite side of the street, from where they shouted slogans in favor of writing off Greece’s debts.
The group, part of the anti-state collective known as “Rouvikonas” (Rubicon), is reportedly comprised of the same people that burst into Parliament’s courtyard a few months ago to demand more favorable treatment for several urban-terrorists incarcerated in Greek prisons. The group’s members again threw flyers in that instance as well, and even managed to enter Parliament after an intervention by the legislature’s president.
