The President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Konstantinos Botopoulos told Reuters that the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX) will open on Wednesday or Thursday after being shut down since June 29, when bank holidays and capital controls were imposed on Greek banks. He said the Commission will meet Wednesday morning to decide whether the Stock Exchange will open later on Wednesday or Thursday.
