The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games logo was unveiled Tuesday. The design mirrors the minimal Japanese culture reflecting how they see themselves. The design belongs to the famous artist Kenichiro Sato. During the official presentation to the media the organisers said the logo combined the dynamic nature of Tokyo with the hospitable spirit of its citizens. Tokyo is under some pressure after the construction of the main Olympic Stadium was cancelled last week due to the backlash of public opinion because of its huge cost. A new call to tender will be announced next week, but time is running short, as the stadium has to be ready in 5 years.
