The Portuguese footballer gave the island to his agent as a wedding gift, according to Portuguese newspaper ‘Move Noticias’. Ronaldo was Mendes’s best man at his wedding. According to reportsb the newlyweds plan to give away all their wedding gifts to charity, but it is not clear whether they will keep the island. Real estate agency ‘Knight Sale’ is predicting an explosion of interest in Greek isles by buyers in the near future.
