The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (Esplanada Footbridge, Moschato construction area) has a number of children’s art events aimed at fostering creativity in children aged up to 12 years.

October 9
Learning How to See: An Introduction to the Visual World
Children ages 8-12 cultivate their visual perception and comprehension of images through a creative workshop of visual literacy.
By viewing numerous images, participants learn how to trust their personal criteria, organize their visual thought and define their emotional intellect.
Takes place at 5 p.m.

Look at Me: Portraits in Art
By observing the evolution of portraiture from the Renaissance to Contemporary art, children ages 6-12 discuss and analyze how each artist is influenced by previous creative geniuses and how the history of art is an incessant process of bonds and ruptures.

Painting Nature: Landscapes in Art
By observing the portrayal of landscapes from the Renaissance to Contemporary art, children ages 6-12 discuss and analyze how each artist is influenced by previous creative geniuses and how the history of art is an incessant process of bonds and ruptures.
