Minister of Justice Nikos Paraskevopoulos and Deputy Minister of Citizen protection Nikos Toskas had a meeting with Supreme Court prosecutor Efterpi Koutzamani and filed a lawsuit against unknown individuals, because it was revealed that one of their advisors held talks with terrorist organizations, following the revelations made by former citizen protection minister Giannis Panousis and published by Proto Thema.
In an effort to explain their lawsuit, the dialogues held between members of the terrorist organization and the advisor of Ministry of Justice, Panos Lamros, are characterised as a national security issue.
Both ministers avoided, though, to use the word “suing” trying to shift this responsibility to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court.
As the two ministers said, during the last few days a series of documents have been revealed which have not been verified if they are true and classified, but create a security issue, as they explained.
