Peace OFF: The first Greek online role playing game (vid)

A free online game which has gain many fans worldwide

Newsroom January 12 05:28

A unique game of misunderstandings involving a peacemaker, zombies, pirates and ninjas created by a Greek team has gain many fans worldwide.

The misunderstandings start from the name of the game, Peace OFF, to the famous song ‘Give Peace A Chance’ which is misinterpreted  as ‘do not give peace a chance’!

“This is a collective effort that began about two years ago with the support of Greek company” Tamasenco “, said one of the developers of the futuristic game, Panayiotis Papidas. The players enter an unknown world which, since it freezes and thaws continuously, the civilization flourishes and declines accordingly.

“In order to keep civilization flourishing in warm period and avoid being destroyed when the world freezes, technology should be developed. And this is when Peacemaker enters, since he is trying to bring peace because he believes that in that way he will ensure progress. He also promotes his way by leaving behind a music sheet of the famous song “Give peace a chance”. However, the lyrics of the song are misinterpreted leading to different conclusions,” Mr. Papidas explains.
