Visitors to Greek museums recorded an increase during the period January-September 2015, according to Hellenic Statistical Authority.

During September 2015, museums recorded an increase of 1,4% in the number of visitors and an increase of 0,3% in their receipts, in comparison with the corresponding month of 2014. The number of visitors at archaeological sites, in September 2015, recorded a decrease of 2,5% but the respective receipts recorded a decrease of 3,2% , in comparison with the corresponding month of 2014.

During the nine-months of 2015, there was an increase of 6,9% in the number of visitors of museums and an increase of 7,8% in the respective receipts, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2014.

The number of visitors at archaeological sites, during the nine-months of 2015 recorded an increase of 4,8% and the corresponding receipts rose by 3,4%, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2014.
