The Image Gallery presents the work of acclaimed photographer Costas Vergas, who has spent 30 years traveling and photographing the world.
In this exhibition – titled “eye phone.”- he has chosen to leave his Leica and Hasselblad camera behind to work only with mobile photography.
As he states himself, “you can do interesting work even from a box of matches that takes pictures, as long as you have an appetite and love for what you do and can catch a perfect photographic moment as it develops in front of you.”
The photographs of this exhibition have been taken exclusively by a mobile phone and depict landscapes, humans, dramatic details, and the feeling of the moment as depicted during his travels in Greece, Spain, Netherlands, UAE, and Bhutan.
