Professor Stephen Hawkin and Russian billionaire Yuri Milner will conduct a search for extraterrestrial life.

Milner has agreed to fund a decade-long search for aliens costing him about $100 million, while it is expected to announce the beginning of their project, titled Starshot, on Tuesday at an event to be held at the One World Observatory in New York City.

“If we were alone it would be such a waste of real estate. But I don’t want to be the judge, I just want to help find an answer.”

It is also believed that billionaire was named after Gagarin, who is understood to be his life-long hero, while he has also invested in the tech industry.
