The Easter work hours of stores will take effect from Thursday, April 28. In Athens, retail shops will be open be open from 9 am in the morning till 9 pm in the evening on Thursday, while they will be open between 1 pm and 7 pm on Good Friday, April 29. On Saturday they will open from 9 am in the morning to 3 pm. In Thessaloniki, shops will open between 10 am in the morning and 9 pm at night for Thursday, 1 pm to 7 pm for Good Friday, and 10 am till 4 pm on Saturday, April 30. All shops in Greece will be closed for Easter Sunday on May 2, and Easter Monday on May 3, as well as May 4 (May Day transferred, as it coincides with Easter Sunday).
