A swimsuit commercial starring supermodel Bar Refaeli has been banned by Israeli television as it was deemed too extreme for viewers in Israel.

The advertisement shows the 30-year-old model enjoying the sunshine on a beach while wearing a bikini.

The scenes include close-ups of her bottom, while she was also filmed getting changed into one of her bikinis, albeit while standing behind a car door.

The Second Broadcasting Authority for Television and Radio cut out several segments of the 45-second commercial in order for it to be shown on Israeli television, as Daily Mail mentions.

But, even with the new edits, the ad cannot be shown before the country’s 10pm watershed.
