Fans of sports teams are so dedicated to their club we often resort to using religious terms to describe their dedication and love. They are the ‘faithful’, or the ‘followers’. It seems this particular AEK Athens baseball fan took it to a completely other level, or might have mixed up where he was at church of the basketball stadium. Whatever the case. the image of him at a baseball match of his favourite team with a religious book in his hand is something we don’t often see. The match had barely started and he is seen completely absorbed in studying the small religious book. After zooming in we managed to determine that he was reading ‘The Holy Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom’. Who knows, maybe he was praying for divine help on behalf of his team…
