The Athens and Epidaurus Festival 2016 welcomes this year’s events with a lovely spot created by Giorgos Karagiorgou and directed by Michalis Konstantatos. Artist Mikael Delta writes the music.

The festival will begin on June 10, with a production of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Aida” at the Herod Atticus Odeon, performed by the National Opera and directed by Enrico Castiglione. The opera is in Italian, but Greek and English subtitles will be available.
