The Athens metro and Tram will be operating from 10pm till the end of the shift, Friday June 10, due to stoppages called by the unions. In protest to the recent omnibus bill passed in parliament, which provides the privatisation of public transport and the delay in the signing of the collective workers’ contact, workers have scheduled to stop work on Friday from 11pm to the end of their shift. Commuters should be reminded that public transport stoppages have also been scheduled throughout next week for Monday, June 13 from the morning till 10pm, Wednesday, June 15 from 9pm till the end, and Friday, June 17 from 12 noon till 5pm.
