A Turkish CN-235 military surveillance plane violated Greek airspace a total of 18 times and an infringement of the Athens FIR, on Thursday, June 16. The Turkish aircraft flew over the Aegean Sea and was intercepted by Greek fighter jets. The constant Turkish provocations over Greek national airspace has not waned despite the presence of NATO ships patrolling in the Aegean.
